Metzeler have launched their third-generation street enduro Tourance Next tyres, which are fitted to the new BMW R1200GS. (Sizes for this bike are 120/70 R19 and 170/60 R17)

The new Tourance™ Next is the third generation of the Tourance range and was specifically designed for latest generation street enduro and adventure touring bikes.

Tourance™ Next sets the new standard for the segment where grip on wet roads is concerned as well as in terms of safety thanks to the new compounds developed for the front and rear which work in synergy with new grooves arranged optimally on the tread.

This tyre can therefore guarantee excellent grip in the wet, conveying a sensation of total safety to the rider in any condition, even when the asphalt is dirty and slippery.

In fact, the tyre structure and profile were designed to absorb bumps in the Tarmac in order to provide greater stability even at high speeds, and with the bike loaded down with top box and passenger in mind. They were also designed for better interaction with the ABS and braking system.

The particularly resistant structure of the carcass creates a rigidity that translates into greater and easier handling of the bike.

The combination and interaction of the new tread and latest generation compounds result in a significant improvement compared to its predecessors in the Tourance family in terms of mileage, thanks to better and more even tread wear.

The new Metzeler Tourance Next is now available in 120/70 R 19 MC 60V and 170/60 R17 72V as original equipment on the latest addition to the BMW family, as well as in 120/70 ZR 17 M/C 58W, 110/80 R 19 M/C 59V and 90/90 – 21 M/C 54V for the front and 140/80 R 17 M/C 69V, 150/70 R 17 M/C 69V, 160/60 ZR 17 M/C 69W, 180/55 ZR 17 M/C 73W and 190/55 ZR 17 M/C 75W for the rear.

Grant Langston is without doubt one of the most successful riders to ever leave our shores. Grant has won AMA titles and countless other MX/Supercross trophies, so he knows a thing or two about goggles, to say the least.

These Langston goggles are produced with the help of Grant himself and have all the features necessary for this type of protective eyewear. Like, sweat resistant foam, silicon infused strap to prevent slipping, replaceable optical lens, and the list goes on.

Apparently Grant even wears them to bed, or possibly not.

Not all of Alpinestars’ footwear is primarily directed towards protection and injury prevention. Therefore this new Classic Shoe will take care of your feet in a more casual manner, like whizzing around the dance floor for example.

The Classic shoe is designed for utmost comfort with its thick, spongy and flat sole and lightweight construction. They also have 3D mesh panels for ventilation and an anti-bacterial lining that will absorb foot odour, which could come in handy if you’ve pulled a hag at the disco and end up back at her place for ‘coffee’, if you know what we mean?
