Trickbitz Magic cliponsIf you didn’t know and came from Neptune, ‘clip-ons’ are a pair of handlebars that bolt directly onto the top of the forks. But you knew that, right?

These new and very strong alloy versions are designed to fit just about any fork diameter size you can think of, from 37mm – 52mm to be precise. The ‘Magic’ term is used because they can be adjusted in all dimensions to suit any riders desire and riding position, all held together with top quality Allen bolts.

The colour options are black or, er, black. So at least you can’t get confused when choosing a colour option. Either way they’ll certainly brighten up your pride and joy.

Trickbitz Adventure lightsSouth Africa loves adventure bikes and every owner of such machines likes to personalize them in their own way. One of the favourite additions is the fitment of some fancy spotlights. So how about owning a pair of these folks?

They’re made from lightweight alloy and have the obligatory fancy perforated guard, so you’ll look super-cool as you thread through the traffic in the morning, er, as you ride across the tundra/bush/desert, sorry.

Two of these sturdy lights come in the kit with some basic wiring extension parts, but they should be easy to install anyway, without too much swearing. Definitely guaranteed to make your big trail bike look even more impressive.

Trickbitz throttle assembly

The chances are that you ARE going to crash your off-road bike at some time or another, right? Now this does two things, one, it hurts, and two, it normally does some mechanical damage.

The handlebar area always takes a good beating, especially the quick-action throttle/twist grip assembly. If this breaks you’ll be a miserable person, because the standard unit can be expensive to replace.

Well Trickbitz, the famous SA accessory dudes now make their own throttle bodies to fit all MX bikes, at a far more acceptable price. Does the same as the original piece but saves you money, can’t say fairer than that, eh?

Shark Raw helmet

Is this one of the coolest looking helmets ever produced, or what? The Shark Raw has been in demand ever since the images were released late last year, and now they’re here and for sale in South Africa, hurrah.

The Shark Raw is a ‘street-fighter’ type helmet to look excessively mean with as you cruise the streets. It’s basically an open-face helmet with goggles and a chin guard. You can remove both of these if you so desire, but who on earth would do that when it looks this good?

Bill has the first one on the road, of course, and he says it’s fantastic and feels superb, comfortable and makes him feel like a tank commander, weirdo that he is.

But they’re only limited numbers to start with so be quick to grab one, and check out www.shark-helmets.com for the full range of colour options, but we say this Soyouz Ear is the best version.

Price: R3,395   Call: Langston Motorsports (011 805 5559) for your nearest Shark dealer or log-on to www.langstonmotorsports.co.za for dealer listings and even more great products.
