KTM helmet moneyDon’t be deceived this KTM ‘helmet’ will protect nothing in the event of a fall, probably because it’s made from a ceramic material that began life in a kiln.

Instead it’s a fist sized moneybox to stuff your R100 notes in on the way to buying your next 300EXC. And wouldn’t it just look the business in your bar?

Unfortunately there’s no official warranty on this device, especially if you use it as a harmful projectile during a heated argument.

v7 pipes

If you happen to own the super cool looking retro Moto Guzzi V7 Racer (test and video on this site), then you’ll want a pair of these?

The stock bike is way too quiet, due to the Euro dicks, so Stealth has come up with these deep chrome slip-on silencers. Designed and made in South Africa they’ll not only save weight but we’ve heard them and they sound fantastic and rather loud, which is nice. They also make the bike look way more classic and for the price you just have to grab a set today, if you own a V7 that is?

Price: R5,500 plus fitting. Call: Fourways motorcycles 011 465 1540 or log on to www.fourwaysmotorcycles.co.za

shark-700-legion

This new helmet from Shark has just arrived in SA and its part of the new 2013 range.

The S700-S is an entry-level helmet made from injected thermo plastic and designed primarily for road use and has an internal drop down sun visor.

But without doubt the biggest talking point is this fabulous paint job. The Legion’s nasty teeth are based on the Curtis P-40 Warhawk/Kittyhawk fighter plane from WW2, which also had this design painted under the chin. The Legion is also painted with mat green/black to keep with the military vibe and we bet, like us, you want one? You most certainly will when you see the price? Be quick though because they won’t stay around for long in the stores and toothpaste is not included.

Price: R2,500
