EZElectric

This is an interesting little box of tricks. The DRC EZ Electric wire kit is a ridiculously easy way to install a lighting kit to your bike that, er, hasn’t got one. Even though it’s aimed at enduro type bikes it could easily be fitted to any old 1950’s Norton track racer, for example. Even Forest Gump could install this.

Inside the box you’ll find LED taillights, flashers, handlebar switch, horn, wiring harness and loads of other stuff to fiddle with. Apparently Bill has fitted this to his favourite motorized armchair so he can drive back from the pub in total comfort, what a dick!

Arai

A new helmet from the Japanese specialists aimed to accommodate riders who prefer naked bikes rather than an uncomfortable “lie-down” type superbike.

Arai, apparently, have spent many hours inside a wind-tunnel to develop this new Rebel in a quest to stop buffeting and similar irritating antics while being totally exposed to the elements.

Inside is a new liner that feels as comfortable as the Queen\s favourite hat, but we’re not too sure if you’ll ever see her wearing one of these at her next equestrian event. Still, there’s no denying that the Arai Rebel is one seriously cool looking helmet, right?

Triumph

Are you bored and need something to play with instead of watching a couple of channels on DSTV out of the thousands you pay for, if so this maybe for you?

Burago make many all-metal models of all types of bikes but we particularly liked this new Triumph Speed Triple version. It’s a1/18th scale replica, which means it’s about the size of a new born Chihuahua.

As you can see it’s in kit form and needs no glue so your fingers should be safe, but there’s no guarantee that a strong sneeze won’t affect construction, so we advise not to take snuff whilst you’re building it.

Portable Shower

Before you all get excited we have to tell you that this packet does not contain some sort of collapsible structure that you can build in a field and have yourself an instant shower cubical – does sound like a good idea though.

Instead it’s a packet containing two large ‘wet-wipes’ that will clean and refresh, eliminate sweat and sanitize your sticky bits; well that’s what KTM say anyway.

The 30x30cm sheets can also be used to drape over your head as you consume your favourite tipple after, before or during your off-road expedition. Either way you’ll have hours of fun finding new uses for this intriguing little package.
