STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM

The Stability Control System assesses the rider’s intended direction and determines the vehicle’s appropriate response. The system applies the brakes to the wheels individually and/or reduces excess engine torque until control is regained.

TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM

The Traction Control System detects excessive rear-wheel spin (e.g., in slippery conditions) and provides better grip for a more confident ride. It accomplishes this by regulating engine ignition and fuel injection, reducing engine torque.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)

Motorcycle enthusiasts were surely disappointed to hear that the AMID Motorcycle show was recently cancelled. We are planning another Dullstroom dirt ride this Sunday 16 Aug 2015 .

Some of you have joined us on our  previous trip to Dullstroom so you will know the basic route .

For the new members of our group , here is some info .

We will meet at Fourways at 7 am to leave at 7h30 . It will be tar all the way to Bronkhorstspruit . There we turn of the freeway , and the about another 40/50 km’s of tar . Then we start our dirt route . Please note this is all gravel roads used by the local farmers , so nothing extreme . We will be on gravel all around the Loskop dam area . We will stop for a refuel and a drinks break in Loskop dam . From there is the last stretch to Dullstroom . We will join the tar again about 5 km’s from Dullstroom  for a well-deserved lunch  .

From there we will decide on time and then make a call on which route we take back  .
