Practically a perfect weekend for the rider of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team who set the pole position, the P3 in the Sprint and the third place in the race. Marco Bezzecchi 13th at the end of a complicated GP
Doha (Qatar), November 19th 2023 – Luca Marini hits the target and gets on the podium of Qatar GP, thus signing a practically perfect weekend where he also takes the pole position and P3 in the Sprint. The rider of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team climbs to the seventh place overall with 194 points. Thirteenth after a very difficult race from the first laps, Marco Bezzecchi who has secured the third place in the Championship thanks to the points scored yesterday (326 total points).
Starting from the pole position on the Ducati Desmosedici GP and in P2 at the end of the first lap, Luca managed the tire as well as possible for the entire duration of the race. Very fast and constant at the end, he scores the second podium of the season (P2 at the GP of the Americas).
Uphill race for Marco who was unable to keep up with the pace of the group fighting for the Top positions. He also finishes today in the points ready to turn the page next Sunday for the grand finale in Valencia.
