If you tend to get ‘hammered’ around the pool, like most of us, whilst making a braai, then you’ll most certainly need one of these, or maybe two?
These Yamaha speakers are portable, and more importantly, they look so damn cool. They have mains power connectivity or you can stuff them with batteries, so you’ll always have power to produce a truly gorgeous sound.
The black one (PDX-11B) has Bluetooth, so you’ll be able to aimlessly walk around in a trance while your phone, i-pod, etc, is lost somewhere else. It can also be used to totally irritate the neighbours, because you’ll be able to throw it over the wall whilst playing something like Korn at 2am, bwarrha ha, ha… The better-looking yellow version is identical but has the normal ‘docking’ facility instead, both PDXs play CDs as well. Go on, you know you want one?
Price: PDX-11B R1,850 or PDX-11 R1,450
