Kawasaki has begun to release some information on its new upcoming 2016 ZX-10R, the new ZX-10R will be an evolution of the current machine—which certainly is a good base to start with—and "not a 'clean sheet' design."
There will be numerous changes throughout the new ZX-10R, all based upon technical experience gained through the factory team's World Superbike Championship exploits, including Tom Sykes' 2013 WSBK Championship campaign, and Jonathan Rea's currently successful 2015 season effort.
Outwardly apparent changes will be "subtle yet highly effective changes to the (front fairing) shape," and "a comprehensive upgrade of the suspension components and the adoption of a premium grade braking system," as well as "new, state-of-the-art rider aids and other technology." The press unveiling is scheduled for Barcelona, Spain in October.
