Kawasaki has a new horse?

kawasaki 01Here’s one of the modern wonders in the world of motorcycling, well sort of. Kawasaki has just revealed this amazing machine called the Corleo; basically it’s a mechanical and electrical marvel that resembles a horse-like creature.

The four articulated independent legs are powered by separate electric motors, and the electricity they need generated by the hydrogen powered 150cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine located close to the ‘head’. The hydrogen cells are placed in the buttock area. Ideal for all-terrain activities, not to mention how much it’ll impress your mates when you pass them on their boring old Enduro bikes.

The four ‘hooves’ split for traction on different terrains and have a new type of rubber coating. AI is used to help with navigation, control, and GPS acquisition, so you won’t get lost whilst climbing hills and the like. It also has adjustable ‘stirrups’ for the feet, to accommodate all sizes of rider, maybe, seeing as there’s no recommended weight of rider released, as of yet?

Yet again Kawasaki impress us with fascinating technology and innovation, and, like us, we bet you’d like to ride one? It could be painful when it throws you off though, seeing as the video shows no real form of protection for the ‘jockey’. Are they even going to go into production or is it just a concept – hopefully so we’d say.
