Liqui Moly now supports Mike Puzey’s Bikers Warehouse popular NITE X series, staged in their very own backyard in Randburg under floodlights; this type of concept racing it is now taking over as the event to enter and great for the spectators and race fans. Cleverly staged on a Friday night not to clash with any weekend sport or events it has become popular with all Offroad type riders.
With many types of off-road racing that’s come and gone over the years, it’s great to see something new, that all in a confined area where the riders are running a loop and don’t disappear, that’s easy to view, exciting, technical, competitive and all happening right in front of you.
“We saw this event as an ideal event to sponsor as its fresh, certainly spectacular and a great test for our brand,” said Liqui Moly SA Director Melicia Labuschagne. “The confined space makes for great racing and lots of action and is perfect for our action brand; we look forward to it going far as a new event.”
The event draws all types of riders and on the night it’s a who’s who in Enduro, Enduro cross, MX and Offroad all having a go at this new concept racing.
“The plan is to make it bigger and better going forward,” said Mike Puzey owner of Puzey’s Bikers Warehouse. “We will see how it goes this year and if well accepted we will grow the series.” “Entrants total 100 for each event and we have 5 different classes on the night, we are also trying to cater for all the competitors, let’s see what pans out going forward, but right now all seem to be happy with the concept.”
Call it a mix of Enduro, MX, Super Cross or Enduro Cross or whatever but it seems to be what everyone wants to enter and watch today.
