Greg Gildenhuys won his first race on the new 2017 ZX-10RR in East London and the whole team is ecstatic after many hours of development, as they jolly well should be.
Noddy from Bikeworx (011 792 5795) provided the power to propel Greg to victory, and we mean ‘power’! In basic form the ZX-10RR made 163hp on his Dynojet dyno. But after fiddling with camshaft timing, fitting a thinner head gasket and many hours of dyno tuning Greg’s bike now makes a massive 194hp at the wheel, very impressive to say the least.
The team is now looking forward to next round at Zwartkops (go to www.supergp.co.za for more details), in the quest to win the South African National series. It won’t be easy but we’re sure the guys now have a big chance of doing so, if their last results are anything to go by. We’ll keep you informed after the next race. Go Greg…
